"Drifter"
Drifter is a wonderful PWD with a regal looking black wavy coat and a white chest. He measures 21 1/2 inches at the withers and is 62 pounds. He is well boned and his movement is smooth with an excellent side gait and a clean down and back. Drifter has been shown since he was 6 months of age, became an AKC Champion at 10 months and went on to compete at the Best of Breed level as a Special. He is a Multiple Group winning PWD. Among Drifter’s many accomplishments are two Awards of Merit at the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America National Specialty in 2007 and 2008. He was #3 PWD in the United States for the year 2007 and has been ranked in the Top Ten from 2006 to 2009. His dam, Titanic, BIS, BISS, CH Driftwood’s Ship of Dreams, won the PWDCA National Specialty and his sire, Deuce, INt’L/ AM/CAN CH Driftwood’s Bacchus Dos, was Stud Dog of the Year at PWDCA National Specialty in 2007.
